Anne Jackson (whose cool blog you should read) recently updated her profile pic to a new pic taken by Joshua Longbrake.
I loved the new pic (along with most of Joshua’s stuff) except for the fact that is had a bright blue background.
I left this comment on Anne’s site
and mysteriously the blue background disappeared:
Mere coincidence or my supreme power over the blogging world?

I love it!!! Your surpreme power inspired me to update my whole blog. I bow down before your opinion ever so humbly…
Oh…to see the blueness, you can go here:

i was about to comment that she’d probably beat ya to the punch. but here lies her TWO comments confirming your dream-come-true!
I can totally see you reading these comments right now. And you’re probably saying, “Facebook! Why didn’t I look there!?” I know I am.
Billy,
Please send me an e-mail where I can contact you.
Thanks,
Dr. K-
Anne,
Thanks, I’m still laughing obnoxiously hard right now. And thank your for the facebook link. I searched everywhere to try to find that pic. (I’m sure you’ll see all my hits on weird pages of your site in your tracking software.)
Sarah,
I know. I’m dejected and embarrassed that I didn’t think of it.
Dr. K!!!
Thank you for stopping by. For all who don’t know, Dr. Klintworth runs the writing center at Concordia University where I worked in college. She is the reason I have any writing skills today. If you have read anything on my blog that you considered cleaver or well written you can blame it all on her.
i actually didn’t edit that photograph. i gave anne a disc of shots and she edited most of them. just fyi.
Joshua,
That is a good distinction to make.
