I’ve been contemplating Twittering for a while now. Joining in has been long overdue. This post from John Voelz just put me over the edge and I had to sign up.
You can all follow me now on twitter @billychia
A few people deserve big props in helping my conversion to tweet:
Chris, Los, Alex, Anne, and Russ
Honerable mentions:
Pete, Jon, Jeff, Fred, Rich, Bobby, Mark, Eric, Victor, Steve, Conner, Russell, Joel, Lewis, Tam, Brent, Ben, Heidi, James, and Jay
Remeber, you don’t always get to close the deal. Every seed you plant matters.
Thanks, I know I’m gonna like this.
I am having trouble adding twitter to my gmail im, any tips?
What’s your favorite way to tweet?

yay!!!! you joined the Twitter Litter!!!!
Welcome to the twits, and thanks for the mention!
Billy, welcome man!
Fred
I’m your 10th follower.
It took me a while to join too, but I took the plunge a while ago
@iamanoffering
Whoops! My link is wrong, if you could make sure it’s twitter.com/iamanoffering, that would be great! Sorry about that!
Well, I hope you’re proud of yourself. I am no longer talking to you.
Sweet, Sarah’s joining twitter too and now we’ll be doing all our communication that way!!
Cool… I lOVE being honorable mention!
@rkweblog will sooon see the likes of @billychia
Ryan,
Cool, I got you followed.
Thanks for the nod! Twitter could possibly one of the best networking tools I have in my digital toolbox at the moment.
Hey, you mind changing my “Ordinary Radical” blogroll link to “Russ Hutto” at http://www.russhutto.com.
Thanks!
Russ,
Fixed now – good job on the crossover btw. I still have a lot of links that call my blog “inept as icing” but they always pointed to “billychia.com” Couldn’t imagine trying to switch my URL – but I think you made the right call.
Sweet dude! I’d love to hear your ramblings on twitter everyday.
I don’t have one favorite way to twitter. Since it has been down a lot lately during their upgrades, mot of our third party interfaces have been slow to use. You can always Twitter right from your twitter home page when this happens.
But, in Firefox I use Twitterfox as an add on.
Stand alone on my Mac I use Twhirl.
On my iPhone I use Hahlo.com This is my favorite interface.
I’ve never used IM’ing or text for sending and receiving tweets since I have my iphone. Blackberry users have twitterberry if they want. You can also select your account to send via text any direct messages so you don’t miss them.
Anyway, I’ve talked to long, definitely over 140 characters
Welcome to the twitter world!!!
Brent,
Thanks for the tips.
Billy, glad to be of service! Glad to see you on Twitter. I’m just glad all over!
You have been assimilated. Muahahahahahahahahahah. Welcome! Thanks for the mention!
welcome to twitdom… and thanks for the mention. I love it… oh and as far as ways to tweet goes, I’m all over Twitterific
Tonight marks my two week anniversary on Twitter.
Many thanks for the honorable mention.
Most thanks for the “and Jay.” In the movies, the “and” guy is typically the cameo by the old dude that’s there to show the youngsters how its done. Strangely though, I’m probably the youngest guy on the list. I’m certainly the best looking.
Glad you jumped into Twitter, just added you this a.m., lots of great people using Twitter, I have learned a lot for many of them. See you in your tweets.
p.s. – first time I found your blog, looks great, added to my reader now.
I have been assimilated too. I joined before I deployed, but I didn’t know anything about the whole following stuff. Just figured people could see what I was up to when they read my blog. Now my phone rings off the hook! It’s cool.
