A Sincere Thanks

Thank you to everyone who has commented and emailed me recently. Thank you for your prayers. They are powerful and my family needs them.

My mom sent me this email today after reading about how God is working in my life:

Be possative about your singing and God will bless you “Power of posative thinking.”My friends son had a terrible fear of singing due to epilepsy one am he almost fell off the choir balcony everyone prayed he takes meds and has never had another attack again. He travelled to England France & Rushia. My friend died this year Bob moved into his own appartment and sings lead tenor in several group0s although He can not drive Boy can he sing. If God wants you to sing He will bless you with the gift, BE POSITIVE Love Mom

She also sent another email where she wrote

YOUR VOICE DOES NOT SUCK!

Then she reminded me of several recent opportunities I’ve encountered because of my talent as a worship leader.

I also had a lengthy Father-Son talk today with my Dad about the whole process.

Mom and Dad, I love you, thank you for being a part of my blog.

Sometimes being transparent, especially in a public place like the the internet, can be a risk all it’s own. In this case the love I’m feeling from you guys is really encouraging.

I’m not necessarily a fan of everyone in the world knowing my vulnerabilities, but I believe in sharing the knowledge. God is teaching me so much through this situation, it wouldn’t be fair to keep it to myself.

So, thank you. We’ll do this together.

Your sharing is appropriately done with a medium such as this. His name is glorified because of it. God is certainly using the internet to advance his kingdom.

I love my parents. They are so supportive of all I do. Check out my post today. I wrote it last week, but I included your last statements. Love you, man.

Our lives God are definitely a process and it sounds like you have lovingly and willingly embraced this process. You go for it and the grace of God keep you and cover you as you proclaim the name of Christ and lead His people into His presence to worship Him.

Billy, just read through what you’ve done. Big change but sounds like the lion has been well and truly spotted. Keep praying but mostly be encouraged that God Almighty didn’t give you a gift like that so it could be hidden, so however and wherever you can use it to bring Him glory, then you must be in His will, whatever that looks like over the next few weeks for you. Interested to hear how it all works out. Duncan
