Worship Round Table Responses

At The Worship Round Table last week 30 people met at Chase Valley Church to discuss how we could experience more powerful worship. We shared stories of our personal worship and brainstormed together ideas to implement into our worship arts ministry. As the facilitator I wrote everyone’s response on a whiteboard up front. Follow the links below to see a typed list of all the responses:

    Wow Billy,
What an awesome blog. The last few have been powerful. Thank you for the ideas and your heart.

The following three are our picks for “it would be cool if we…”:
    1. had welcome packets for visitors (include a CD too)
As potentially new members, it would have been advantageous for us to know about the church, who does what, small groups, etc.

    2. all got hooked into a small group

    3. had an all church retreat

    (4) We also thought it would be a good idea to have worship with those who did NOT participate fully…maybe like a “beginner’s worship.” We enjoyed the worship round table and would like to see it continued.

    (5) We’re not sure about “eliminating” the bulletin, but maybe streamlining it a bit to save paper and ink.

Hope these comments are helpful – we enjoy the praise and worship part of the services very much!

    Blessings, Gloria and Fred
