This is the conversation I had with my 8-year-old daughter today after dropping my mom off at the airport:
“Maybe one day when I’m ready to plant a church you can be my worship leader.”
“I don’t know…”
“You could do it, you’re already good at playing piano and singing.”
“We’ll have to make a deal.”
“Yeah, what kind of deal?”
“I don’t know, a deal.”
“What do you have in mind? Pitch it to me.”
“Well, I was thinking we could spend a whole day together, just you and me, and then I’ll be your worship leader.”
That sounds like a win/win to me.
?
Joey,
I just think my daughter is sweet because out of all the things she could ask for she just wants to spend a day with me.
I win because I get to spend a day with my daughter and I win because she’ll lead worship for me when she gets older 🙂
That is very cute. I can relate to that, being a father of a 3 year old and a 1 year old (both sons).
she is amazing.
that’s pretty much beautiful.
There is only a small window to spend quality time with your kids it goes away very fast, don’t miss it
