A Double Win

This is the conversation I had with my 8-year-old daughter today after dropping my mom off at the airport:

Maybe one day when I’m ready to plant a church you can be my worship leader.”

I don’t know…

You could do it, you’re already good at playing piano and singing.”

We’ll have to make a deal.”

Yeah, what kind of deal?”

I don’t know, a deal.”

What do you have in mind? Pitch it to me.”

Well, I was thinking we could spend a whole day together, just you and me, and then I’ll be your worship leader.”

That sounds like a win/win to me.

I just think my daughter is sweet because out of all the things she could ask for she just wants to spend a day with me.

I win because I get to spend a day with my daughter and I win because she’ll lead worship for me when she gets older 🙂

That is very cute. I can relate to that, being a father of a 3 year old and a 1 year old (both sons).
